Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Day

Walk-ins are welcome but those with reservations have priority.
During the 30 minute Q&A at 11:30 am & 5:30 pm we will cover:
- Brief understanding of acupuncture and moxibustion
- How acupuncture may be helpful to your body, mind and spirit
- What you may experience during treatment
- Some specific conditions acupuncture treatment may help
- Licensing, training, and continuing education
- The needles and other treatment items including moxibustion and cupping
- General Q&A
For your privacy and the benefit of the group, we will keep the discussion more general and can speak about your specific needs in a more private setting.
A few details for the 12:00 pm & 6:00 pm treatment :
- To fully appreciate the treatment experience, please leave children with a trusted friend or family member.
- Please arrive promptly! To limit interruptions, the door will close once treatment begins and we kindly request you respect the quiet by not knocking.
- As with everything medical, you will complete a short form that includes a brief medical history and consent to treatment
- Please eat at least a healthy snack, if not a full meal, before you come in
- Please refrain from wearing scented products including lotions, perfumes, etc
- Kathryn will lead a short quiet time followed by the placement of needles
- We will sit together and relax quietly for about 30 minutes while the needles are in. Please allow around 45 minutes for the entire treatment process
- Kathryn will be available after the treatment for conversation and questions
